Alocasia Frydek is a real treat for seekers of tropical delicacies. The plant is rare for sale and has amazingly beautiful, eye-catching leaves! Their delightful, velvety surface and arrow-shaped shape make Frydek’s allocation an exclusive living exhibit in the collection of indoor plants. In addition to the unusual texture, the leaves are decorated with a spectacular, almost white pattern of the veins, thanks to which you cannot take your eyes off them. The edges of the lamina are slightly cut between the individual nerve endings, which gives the impression of a green velvety membrane stretched over a light skeleton. Young leaves are light green in color and darken with age. Frydek grows up to approx. 60-70 cm in height, the leaves are very large, and the leaf blade can be approx. 45 cm long and 15 cm wide. This tropical beauty will be a rarity in the home jungle and will stylishly decorate modern interiors.

Alocasia prefers fertile, humus, moderately moist, well-drained and drained soils. The site should be bright, but not exposed to direct sunlight. The plant feels best at a temperature of around 18-21 degrees C. He loves high air humidity, so it is necessary to gently sprinkle it with soft water. The plant cannot be poured or dried. In winter, watering should be significantly reduced. From spring to autumn, we feed the alocase every two weeks with fertilizer for plants with decorative leaves. Younger plants are transplanted in spring each year, in older plants it is enough to replace the top layer of the substrate.
The plant is sold in a pot with a diameter of 21 cm. Plant height measured with the pot is approx. 70 – 80 cm.
