Monstera karstenianum

Monstera karstenianum is an extremely effective climber with extraordinary foliage. The plant originating from Southeast Asia is distinguished by a fast growth rate, creating shoots up to 4-5 m. It can be led as a climbing plant or freely hanging, flowing down in dense, picturesque cascades towards the ground. The plant is proud of its large, fleshy, green leaves with lighter spots appearing in places. Fantastic, marbled, in places convex, strongly veined leaf blades combined with the natural glow of foliage give the plant a unique, exotic character. Monstera karstenianum is very impressive and easy to cultivate, and it effectively cleans the air by absorbing pollutants.

Requirements Monstera karstenianum:

For a good growth of monstera, choose a bright place, but not in direct sunlight. The substrate should be fertile, humus-rich, permeable, constantly moist, however, avoid too abundant watering, which may lead to rotting of the roots from excess water. It is a good idea to allow the substrate to partially dry out from time to time. It is advisable to fertilize the plant with green plant fertilizer once every 3-4 weeks. Monster can be trimmed, thus regulating its size and shape.

The plant is sold in a pot with a diameter of 12 cm. Plant height measured with the pot is approx. 25-30 cm.
