Philodendron SAW

Philodendron ‘Saw’ is a unique, collectible variety with extremely attractive leaves, which shape resemble a wide saw blade. In young plants, the leaves are narrow, elongated and initially full-edge. As the plant grows, successive leaves become wider, their edges are cut more strongly, and the surface of the blade is slightly wavy. Ultimately, the leaf blade becomes wide, strongly elongated with distinct indentations reminiscent of saw teeth. The newly emerging leaves are initially coppery red in color, and as they unfold, they turn green-copper, and eventually turn into a dark green color. This color variation is extremely attractive, because the young leaves stand out picturesquely against the darker green of the older leaves. The leaf plate impresses with a beautiful, elegant shine in the youngest specimens. Philodendron ‘Saw’, despite its subdued color, is full of temperament and a refined, living decoration in interiors.
