A unique species of cactus from Brazil, which impresses with its wonderful, chalk-blue color. The plant produces a thick, raised stem with distinct ribs. Regular white and cream areoles are arranged along the shoot, from which emerge radially arranged yellow-brown spines. In summer, we can admire the extraordinary beauty, large, white flowers that open only at night. Amazing colors and spectacular flowering make Pilosocereus Azureus an original decoration of any interior.

Requirements and care

sunny position
watering sparingly only when the top layer of the substrate dries well
in winter, watering should be significantly reduced
permeable substrate, with good drainage (substrate for cacti and succulents can be used)
feeding with fertilizer for cacti during the growing season
To minimize the risk of overfilling, it is best to use the hand-held water sprayer for watering.
The shrinkage of the cacti leaves is a clear indicator for the next watering.

The plant is sold in a pot with a diameter of 11 cm. Plant height measured with the pot is approx. 20 – 25 cm.
