Philodendron Orange Marmalade

Philodendron Orange Marmalade is a beautiful tropical plant from South America.

It has glossy, dark green leaves that are splashed with vibrant shades of orange, yellow and red.

It is also an undemanding plant. With proper care, this vibrant plant can bring a touch of the tropics to any home.

Philodendron grows in bright, indirect sunlight. You should place it in a place where it receives gentle, indirect sunlight throughout the day.

Do not expose the plant to direct sunlight. It is best to find a place with constant, moderate light intensity to keep the plant’s leaves alive.

Use well-drained soil for cultivation.

To prevent root rot, avoid excessive watering. Adjust the watering frequency depending on environmental conditions and the plant’s need for moisture. Always allow the soil to dry out moderately between waterings.

Feed your Orange Marmalade  with a balanced, water-soluble houseplant fertilizer every 4-6 weeks in spring and summer. Dilute the fertilizer by half and remember to water thoroughly after application. Avoid fertilizing in autumn and winter.

Philodendron orange marmalade prefers an average room temperature in the range of 18-29°C. It should be protected from extreme temperature fluctuations and drafts.

To ensure optimal growth, this plant thrives in moderate to high humidity conditions that replicate its natural rainforest environment. If the air in your home is dry, consider increasing the humidity by using a humidifier, placing the pot on a tray filled with pebbles and water, or regularly misting the leaves. Maintaining adequate humidity prevents leaves from browning and promotes healthy growth.

The plant is sold in a pot with a diameter of 11 cm. Plant height measured with the pot is approx. 20-25 cm.
