Philodendron Scandens ‘Lemon Lime’ is an effective and eye-catching variety of climbing philodendron. The species grows in nature in South and Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico. Due to its low requirements and high ornamental value, it is eagerly grown as a houseplant. The climbing philodendron ‘Lemon Lime’ is less accessible than other varieties of this species. It delights above all with its heart-shaped, smooth leaves in an energizing neon color. Young leaves are bright yellow and turn lemon and lime green over time. This stimulating and bright color makes the philodendron ‘Lemon Lime’ brighten up and enliven any interior. Under good conditions it can grow up to about two meters. It looks most effective when led at a stake, then it will repay you with larger leaves. It can also be grown as a hanging plant, but it is then necessary to trim the shoots frequently in order to obtain a thicker form.

Requirements:

Philodendron is an undemanding plant that is easy to grow. It prefers a position that is slightly shaded with indirect sunlight.
