Hoya ranauensis is a plant native to Borneo, discovered in the Ranau district of Sabah. It is a climbing plant that is characterized by elliptical, green leaves with contrasting dark veins. Hoya ranauensis flowers are small, have white corollas in the center and recurved (backward-pointing) corollas that turn purple at the ends. This plant is relatively easy to grow and grows well in bright, indirect light. It prefers temperatures between 15 and 29 degrees Celsius and needs watering when the soil surface is dry to the touch.
The plant is sold in a pot with a diameter of 10,5 cm. Plant height measured with the pot is approx. 20-25 cm
