Hoya carnosa ‘Tricolor’ captivates with wonderful, colorful foliage and beautiful flowers with a captivating, sweet fragrance. The plant produces long, slender shoots that can grab onto various supports with the help of the so-called adherent roots. Oval, thick, fleshy, leathery, pointed leaves are arranged opposite. The dark green, beautifully shiny surface of the leaf blade is decorated with an irregular, cream-pink margin. At the moment of flowering, among the colorful leaves appear small, pink flowers with raspberry-red centers, gathered in beautiful, dense umbels. The flowers are star-shaped and their highly shiny surface makes them look like made of porcelain. Hoya carnosa ‘Tricolor’ is a plant that causes no problems to grow. For proper growth, it needs a clear position, well-drained substrate and a small amount of water. This species copes well with periodic droughts.
