Hoya heuschkeliana is a charming plant from the Philippines, which is valued for its decorative leaves and beautiful flowers. It is an epiphytic vine that naturally grows on tropical trees. The leaves are ovate, thick and fleshy, with slightly curled edges. They are dark green with a slight sheen, and are lighter and matte on the underside. In full sun, the leaves can take on a red blush. The flowers of Hoya heuschkeliana are small but very charming. They are yellow in a honey shade and are gathered in umbels of 12 flowers. The flowers usually appear in summer and adorn the plant for about 7 days, spreading a specific, caramel-butter scent. This plant prefers bright, diffused light and well-drained soil. It requires moderate watering, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Hoya heuschkeliana grows best at temperatures between 15°C and 25°C and high air humidity.
The plant is sold in a pot with a diameter of 9 cm. Plant height measured with the pot is approx. 20-30 cm
