Sansevieria Samurai is a low and very charming variety that delights the eye with its original habit and thick, fleshy and stiff leaves. It forms a habit of a spreading rosette, built of long, triangular, boat-shaped and pointed leaves. They grow opposite each other, and the next pairs of new leaves are arranged in a spiral, not covering the surface of the older ones. The long, boat-shaped leaves are sharply pointed, which emphasizes the combative character of the cultivar name. The edges of the leaves are effectively marked with a narrow, maroon-orange margin, which beautifully emphasizes their shape. Reddish brown trim can also be seen on the pointed tops of the leaves. This tiny sansevieria reaches only 15 cm in height and a similar width. The leaf blade is green on both the upper and lower sides, decorated only with randomly appearing, single, longitudinal stripes of dark green. Thanks to its small size, ‘Samurai’ sansevieria will be a great decoration for a desk, coffee table or bookcase, and its tolerance to lack of light makes it an original decoration even in slightly shaded places.

Requirements:
Sansevieria is an undemanding plant, easy to grow and resistant to drought. The most suitable for her will be a bright position with diffused light or semi-shady. Sansevieria does not tolerate excess water, so it is best to ensure its proper drainage. The substrate should be quite fertile, humus, permeable. A suitable substrate for sansevieria is a substrate for cacti and succulents. Water the plant only when the soil is completely dry. We feed with liquid compound fertilizer every 3-4 weeks. It is worth remembering that sansevieria will forgive us any negligence, except flooding with excessive amounts of water. It will perfectly endure a shortage of water, fertilizer, light and too tight a pot, even for long weeks. A fertilizer for cacti and succulents is adapted to the requirements of the plant.
The plant is sold in a pot with a diameter of 9 cm. Plant height measured with the pot is approx. 20 – 25 cm.
