An interesting succulent with an unobvious and original coloration. Its brown, mottled leaves are strongly wavy at the edges, and the edges are decorated with a contrasting beige-brown border. It is decorated with fleshy and branchy leaves that grow from the center, creating a beautiful, stiff and regular rosette. The color of the leaves slightly changes with the phase of their maturation. At first it is dark green, and when they are fully developed they will acquire a muted brown shade. Irregular patterns appearing on the entire surface of the leaves are an additional decoration. Clear, dark lines can be seen along the major veins from the center of the rosette to the tips of the leaves. In addition, these lines intersect with spots which appear to form more or less regular broad stripes transverse to the leaf margin. Ultimately, the mature rosette takes a majestic harmonious shape, and due to its unusual colors and the accumulation of interesting, decorative details, it will certainly become a unique decoration for a window sill, shelf or bookcase.
Sansevieria, due to its incredible resistance to water shortage, is called the “iron plant”. All the Sansevieria varieties have in common that they adapt well to the harsh living conditions – they are not afraid of dry air, water shortage and a small amount of daylight. An undoubted advantage is also the slow growth, which is associated with the lack of the need for frequent replanting. Sansevieria are long-lived plants that are ideal for amateurs and at the same time fit perfectly into modern interiors. Another advantage is that they cleanse the air of toxins such as benzene, formaldehyde, trichlorethylene, toluene and xylene. Sansevieria are ideal houseplants that not only filter the air by neutralizing toxic compounds, but also produce large amounts of oxygen.

Requirements
Sansevieria Trifasciata Moonshine is undemanding, easy to grow and drought tolerant. A bright position with diffused light or a semi-shadowed position will be the most suitable. Sansevieria does not tolerate excess water, so it’s best to drain it properly. The substrate should be fertile, humus-rich and well-drained. We water the plant only when the soil is completely dry. We supply them with multi-component liquid fertilizer every 3-4 weeks. It is worth remembering that sansevieria will forgive us for any neglect, except for flooding with excessive water. It can handle the shortage of water, fertilizer, light and too tight pot even for long weeks. The fertilizer for succulents and cacti is adapted to the plant’s requirements.
The plant is sold in a pot with a diameter of 11 cm. Plant height measured with the pot is approx. 45 – 55 cm.
