Hoya carnosa ‘Tricolor’ captivates with its wonderful, colorful foliage and beautiful flowers with a captivating, sweet scent. The plant produces long, flabby shoots that can grasp various supports with the help of so-called sticky roots. Oval, thick, fleshy, leathery, pointed leaves are arranged opposite to each other. The dark green, beautifully shiny surface of the leaf blade is decorated with an irregular, cream-pink margin. At the moment of flowering, among the colorful leaves appear small, pink flowers with raspberry-red centers, gathered in beautiful, dense umbellas. The flowers are star-shaped, and their highly shiny surface makes them look like made of porcelain. Hoya carnosa ‘Tricolor’ is a plant that does not cause problems in cultivation. For proper growth it needs a light stand, a well-drained substrate and a small amount of water. This species copes well with periodic drought.
