Hoya Krohniana ‘Eskimo’ is a small, but very charming and distinctive variety with delightfully colored, fine leaves. The leaves have an elongated, heart-shaped shape without an indentation at the base and a sharp tip, they are small and reach a maximum of 2.5 cm in length and 1.5 cm in width. On their surface, a large number of silver spots are visible, which may be associated with a layer of icing covering the gill. The leaves are uniquely colored, some are covered with silvery pollen and irregular spots of various sizes, others are completely covered with a silvery color. For beautiful coloring, this variety needs more light than other hoya varieties. In addition, with a lot of light, its edges will turn red and dark brown, while in too dark a place the leaves will turn green. The shoots can be led at the supports, but they also look good hanging down. A peculiar feature of hoya ‘Eskimo’ is eager, trouble-free and abundant flowering and rapid growth. The flowers are cream-white with a yellow crown, approx. 6 – 8 mm in diameter and gathered 15 – 25 in flat half-bald trees. They give off a strong aroma that is most noticeable at night and stay on the plant for up to 4-5 days. Hoya krohniana ‘Eskimo’ is a must-have for any hoya collector. Its intense fragrance can transform interiors into a sweet-smelling paradise.
